Ayahuma is considered a Master Plant to many groups in the Amazonian region. This tree is used in dieta for a variety of ailments, one being to “break open the head”. This tree has immense healing properties ranging from treating rashes, healing stomach ailments, and calming fevers. The flowers are mind-blowingly fragrant, and surely will grab anyones attention. The Flower Essence of this amazing tree has a unique ability to help us get out of limited thinking by expanding our ability to perceive the world around us. It helps us to dissolve blockages we might be holding on to that are preventing us from fully expressing repressed parts of ourselves. So.. Ayahuma Flower Essence might inspire us to do some difficult but necessary inner work in order to get to a more liberated sense of self.

Working with Flower Essences is a call for personal ritual. Create a time of intentional interaction with these Essences. For example, try to curate your schedule to where you can have a moment of stillness to invite the essences into your body. It’s best to not be dropping these emotional allies into your mouth while running out of the door, watching tv, tackling your to-do list. Instead, try to take even just 5-10 minutes to really be with the essence in stillness. Having a journal to log what comes up for you can be really helpful. Taking flower essences right before bed invites the flowers to communicate through dreams, so track your nighttime adventures in your journal too. Taking a flower essence with the intention of being creative can be really revealing as well!
